his time as general manager … Recorded the third-most points (427), third-most wins (190), second-most home
wins (110) and second-most home points (240) among all NHL general managers between his appointment on
January 25, 2002 and the end of the 2006-07 season … Had a 197-123-54 record as general manager, the highest
winning percentage in franchise history … Won two Presidents’ Trophies (1997-98, 1998-99), two Western
